Ferdinand Weiss, born 6.6.1933 in Vienna (Austria) 3 diplomas of Viennese Academy of Music: Composition 1958 (Otto Siegl, with price), Conductor 1960 (Hans Swarowsky, with price), Flute 1961 (Hans Reznicek). After his studies free-lance composer, conductor of theatre, 1962/63 scholarship at the Austrian Institute of the Culture Rome, 1967-72 musicmaster of music-school of the city uf \Jienna, 1970-98 professor of music at the Pedagogic Academy in Baden, 1972 manager of the Association of the Composers of Lower Austria, 1989-97 president of the INÖK About 200 works: orchestral works (3 sinfonies, Relazioni variabili, ...à sa fin...), Concerts (für violin, flute, oboe, clarinet, trumpet, trombone), Chamber music, Lieder, pedagogical works.
